FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  1. What makes TÜRSİYEV different from other foundations?

TÜRSİYEV is not limited to providing emergency humanitarian aid; it develops long-term solutions focused on ecosystem restoration, women’s empowerment, and sustainable education.

Its mission is to heal nature, protect life, and transform post-disaster recovery into long-term resilience.

Through the Asi River and Kırıkhan Gölbaşı Lake Rehabilitation and Water-Hyacinth Recycling Project, we aim not only to restore these water bodies but also to revive the biodiversity and local communities that depend on them.

Our goal is to strengthen the natural self-cleaning capacity of the Asi River and Kırıkhan Gölbaşı Lake, improve water quality, protect biodiversity, and safeguard public health.

TÜRSİYEV views recovery not as temporary relief but as a lasting investment in nature and the future.

  2. What does it mean to be a volunteer, and how can I contribute?

Being a volunteer means contributing your time, knowledge, or energy to support our mission.

You can participate in project activities, educational events, or communication efforts or share your expertise in your field.

Every volunteer contribution helps build a healthier society, a stronger environment, and a more sustainable future.

  3. Can I donate goods or equipment?

Yes. Depending on our ongoing projects, we accept material and equipment donations; especially for environmental rehabilitation, educational activities, and women’s production workshops.

You can contact us to learn about our current needs.

  4. What impact does my donation make?

Every donation helps bring new life to the Asi River and Kırıkhan Gölbaşı Lake.

Your support improves water quality, controls invasive water hyacinths, creates jobs for local women, and protects biodiversity in the region.

The collected plants are recycled not only into decorative objects but also into animal feed and organic fertiliser, making the project a genuine zero-waste model.

Each contribution is a meaningful step toward a cleaner lake, a stronger ecosystem, and a more sustainable future.

  5. Does my support really make a difference?

Absolutely. Every donation, act of volunteering, and message of support contributes to our mission of protecting nature and empowering communities.

Together, we can build a cleaner, more sustainable, and more hopeful future.
